Job summary

Maverick Power LLC in Plano, TX seeks an Assembly Line Supervisor to lead a manufacturing production line, create daily work schedules, monitor quality and targets, and drive cost-effective operations. You will manage all activities, ensure safety, compliance, and timely execution, and mentor staff to achieve excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, 4+ years in manufacturing, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, communication, and coaching to employees to foster trust, teamwork, accountability, and ownership.

• Monitor team activities and take corrective actions as needed.
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan and direct work; appraise performance.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and tidy work environment.

About the Role:

Assembly Line Supervisor supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts. Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets. Manages and oversees all operations activities; ensures that all operations functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.
• Prepares all required reports and correspondence.
• Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years related manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred.
• Leads by example through 5S Methodology.
• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds at times.

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
