Job summary

Ultra Maritime is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate daily assembly activities, ensure safety, and drive quality in our naval manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Soldering training certified.
  • Experience with assembly line equipment and tooling.

Position Summary
  • Coordinates and directs daily the activities of the assigned production team to maximize productivity while maintaining quality.
  • Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics met.
  • Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated production problems.
  • Provides training for other assembly workers.
Job Description
  • Assigns work, reviews metrics, resolves issues that are escalated.
  • Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
  • Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to escalated production problems.
  • Follows training and safety requirements and trains Assemblers to use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
  • May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
  • Keeps daily assembly production records.
  • Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.

Typically, High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of related experience Soldering training certified
