Job summary

General Manufacturing in Columbia, MO designs and builds Ultradyne rifle sights and components. The Assembly Intern role exposes you to the mechanical design and production process, supporting inventory tracking, assembly, and quality checks.

You will help identify design flaws during assembly and assist with painting and troubleshooting, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Columbia, Missouri area or relocate there.
• Positive attitude and hard work ethic required.
• Knowledge of gun sights preferred.
• Flexible schedule; may work weekends when demand fluctuates.
• Clean background.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory tracking of both parts and assembled products.
• Assist with painting process of manufactured products.
• Quality control for parts and assembled products.
• Troubleshoot part/product issues and identify potential design flaws.

ASSEMBLY INTERN POSITION:

Our Assembly Intern will gain exposure to a critical part in the mechanical engineering design and production process. You will assist our team with our inventory tracking and assembly process, learn to identify potential design flaws in our parts and products during assembly and help to problem solve on any potential issues that arise during the assembly process.

ASSEMBLY INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Flexibility in your schedule; can potentially work some weekends as needed when product demand fluctuates.
