Responsibilities

• Support mechanics during assembly by holding materials, assisting with manual tasks, and operating shop tools such as grinders, bolt drivers, and band saws.
• Handle materials throughout the shop—loading, unloading, staging, and moving items using pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, and similar equipment.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by cleaning work areas, tools, and machinery.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, SOPs, and lockout/tagout protocols.
• Contribute to efficient workflow by completing general production support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Physical stamina—ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from shop locations.
• Experience in manufacturing, plumbing, pipefitting, or similar trades (preferred).
• Familiarity with forklifts or material‑handling equipment, basic power tools, and measuring tools (preferred).
