Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 4 years post-secondary/Associates degree with 2 years related experience.
• Experience in electronic hardware assembly and soldering preferred.
• Experience with rework on CCAs/modules/top-level assemblies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a high-speed, dynamic and interactive team environment.
• Perform assembly tasks including part preparation, manual placement, torque (manual and automated), chemical applications and soldering per specifications.
• Participate in meetings, task teams, and cross-functional reviews related to manufacturing performance, quality issues, and process improvements.
• Interface effectively with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Supplier Quality.
• Use of PPE and adherence to ESD and safety requirements.
• Additional duties in alignment within assembly scope as necessary.

Job Description:

We are seeking an Experienced Assembler to join our F-35 Manufacturing Team. This position will perform manufacturing operations in a hands-on assembly laboratory for flight-based hardware, including Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), Module, and Top-level Assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic hardware assembly, electronic hardware and component soldering, and complex rework for CCAs, Module and Top-Level Builds. The assembler will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality and reliable performance of our products.

Essential Functions:

• Operate in a high-speed, dynamic and interactive team environment
• Independently perform various assembly tasks, including part preparation, manual part placement, torque (manual and automated), chemical applications and soldering, ensuring adherence to requirements and customer specifications.
• Participate in meetings, task teams, and cross-functional reviews related to manufacturing performance, quality issues, and process improvements
• Ability to interface effectively with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Supplier Quality.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to ESD and safety requirements.
• Additional duties in alignment within assembly scope as necessary

Qualifications:

• Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 4 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• JSTD and IPC 610 Certified
• 2 years' experience conducting work using a microscope.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
