Job summary

Parker Hannifin is hiring for an Assembly position in Wadsworth, OH. You will assemble products in the identified value stream and support the assembly operations daily.

The role requires reading assembly drawings, basic math, and a strong team orientation. You will contribute to LEAN improvements, follow OSHA rules, and help ensure quality while lifting up to 25 lbs (40 lbs with assistance).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and ability to read assembly drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a participative team player.
• Follow all OSHA compliance regulations and lean initiatives (5S+ safety).
• Must regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 40 lbs with team assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pull jobs and put parts away as needed.
• Support and participate in LEAN activities and actively problem solve issues.

Your main responsibilities

Perform all duties of an Assembler.

Job Overview:

• Ability to utilize measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, tape measure)


• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25lbs., and occasionally lift over 40lbs. with team assistance.

We are looking for a talent with

• Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.


• Must be able to withstand repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, ladders, and squatting.


• Daily attendance is required.
