Job summary

Hendrickson in Ohio is seeking a production assembler to work on our assembly line using pneumatic and hand tools to build components per customer specifications. You will inspect products, report daily production data, and participate in safety training while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Prior 1-2 years in production assembly and ability to pass drug screening are preferred. Willingness to work overtime and follow all safety policies is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs preferred.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.

Responsibilities

• Use pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per specs.

Job description

Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications. Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product. Must be able to facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• High School Diploma/GED required.

Physical Demands

• Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.

• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.

Environmental Conditions

• Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
