Responsibilities

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Assembles various products, including bulletin boards, letter-boards, dry erase boards, easels, sign pedestals, open/closed signs, and more.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
  • Assembles components, ensuring connections are correct and fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Resolves assembly problems by adjusting dimensions to meet specifications and notifies the supervisor for additional resources.
  • Maintains equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort.

Assemblers required for ICM Corporation’s sister company, United Visual Products. This part‑time/full‑time position offers flexible hours and growth opportunities. United Visual Products manufactures visual communication boards and signs for churches, schools, businesses, and other institutions. ICM Corporation, based in Milwaukee, WI with an affiliate office in Chicago, IL, has been in business for over two decades.
