As part of your role, you will:

  • Set-up, assemble, disassemble, and test actuators, gas turbine assemblies, turbine pump controls, or electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies following safety and environmental procedures.
  • Work from operation sheets, blueprints, shop travelers, and other instructions.
  • Perform soldering, crimping, and potting of electrical components.
  • Dry test and calibrate assemblies, making adjustments to meet specifications.
  • Test hardware for pressure, static, and dynamic calibrations, and other schedules.
  • Use precision measuring tools and equipment to verify assembly and testing accuracy.
  • Inspect hardware for leaks, proper build-up, and test/calibration compliance.
  • Process hardware for shipment, including cleaning, labeling, and packaging.
  • Maintain records of tests, inspections, and materials.
  • Instruct and assist fellow employees as needed.
  • Perform electrical inspections and troubleshoot issues.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and process standards at all times.

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 pm – 12 am. Training will be on 1st/2nd shift until independence is achieved, approximately 6 months.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related electrical/mechanical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with measuring equipment such as micrometers and ohmmeters.
  • Reading blueprints or electronic manuals.
