Job description

Our team in the Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician II to join them. You will report to the Process Manager and will have an onsite, 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

Shift Details
  • 2nd shift hours: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Shift differential: 10% starting from the first day
  • Training shifts may vary based on company needs, including 1st or 3rd shifts
  • 1st shift hours: 6 am – 2:30 pm
  • 3rd shift hours: 10:30 pm - 6:00 am
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer instructions in English
  • At least 3 years of related technical experience
  • Participation in FAA's F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program due to safety-sensitive work requirements
Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly activities using mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms
  • Work from drawings, instructions, and parts lists; document performance results and circumstances
  • Set up and perform operational tests on high-precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment
  • Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework or configuration changes
  • Support daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
