Job summary

Woodward FST, Inc. is seeking an Assembly and Test Associate 1 for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) with 7:30 AM–3:30 PM training.

You will assemble and test products, follow documented procedures, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Candidates should have basic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail to ensure quality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of mechanical aptitude or related experience.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble product per documented procedures using specified tools.
  • Test product per documented procedures and verify functionality.
  • Conduct inspections and record data per operating standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Candidates should follow standardized work, participate in continuous improvement, and use basic computer tools to support tasks efficiently.What You Will Be Doing:Assemble Product: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently assemble product components using specified tools and equipment.Test Product: Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently test product using specified tools and equipment,Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.What We Are Looking For:Technical Capability: Understands and follows basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Critical Thinking: Identifies gap-to-standard and resolves or escalates them per standard processes/procedures.Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrates basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
