Job summary

Schaffer Manufacturing is seeking an Assembly Operator for 2nd shift with a 15% differential; you will work four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. A weekend shift offers another 15% differential with three 12-hour days, Friday through Sunday.

Compensation depends on experience and job knowledge, with a preference for 3 years in manufacturing. On-campus childcare is available, and benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, short- and long-term

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products per customer specifications and quality standards until completion.
• Maintain pace in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring safety and quality.

Position Summary

The assembly operator produces products until they are completed to the acceptance of quality standards set by the customer specifications.

Work Environment

Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Is expected to be highly familiar with all production operations. Occasional lifting of 50 pounds. Standing for long periods of time throughout the day.
