Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking an experienced assembler to bond and assemble aerospace components in accordance with blueprints and specifications. You will read process charts and work orders to determine bonding sequences and quantities, maintain inventory of hardware, ensure equipment is properly maintained, and complete daily checklists and inspection data sheets.

You will also verify parts for over inspection, manage liquids like nitrogen, and document all applicable information

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred two years of related work experience.
• Experience reading process charts and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Bond and assemble aerospace components per blueprints, using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Read process charts, work orders, and specifications to determine bonding sequence and amount of bonding agent.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and supplies and ensure it is accounted for.
• Ensure all assembly equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete Daily Check List and retain applicable inspection data sheets.
• Verify parts for over inspection (thickness, touch up, cleanliness, routers complete, etc.).
• Daily check of liquid nitrogen; document all applicable information.

• Ensure inventory of hardware and supplies are maintained and accounted for.
• Ensure all equipment used for assembly is in proper working order.
• Complete Daily Check List
• Complete and retain all applicable inspection data sheets.
• Ensure that parts are complete and ready for over inspection:
• EX: Thickness, touch up, cleanliness, routers complete, etc.
• Daily check of liquid Nitrogen
• Ensure Assembly tools are accounted for and secured daily.
• Mixing of sealants and adhesives
• Use of computers to document all applicable information
