Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring for an Assembly role for a company in Whitewater, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.

The position requires soldering experience, a GED or high school diploma, and strong manual dexterity. You will assemble circuit boards, follow schematics, and maintain quality and safety standards on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Previous soldering experience required.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend and twist for entire shift.
• Lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
• Identify electronic components; complete required safety and ESD training.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble circuit boards per specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure all products meet quality and performance requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work on assembly lines assembling various electronic components and products.
• Perform soldering of electronic components onto circuit boards (required experience).
• Use small hand tools and precision equipment.
• Follow written work instructions, schematics, and supervisor directions.
• Maintain acceptable quality and productivity levels.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm

Assembly Requirements:

• GED or High school diploma required
• Previous soldering experience required
• Strong hand-eye coordination and excellent manual dexterity
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and twist for the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift
• Ability to identify electronic components
• Ability to complete required safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training
• Strong attendance record and willingness to work required overtime
