Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and shop docs.
• Accurate interpretation of measurements and graduations.
• Ability to convert feet and inches.
• Mechanical aptitude is helpful.
• Ability to identify tools and parts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop docs to ensure correct assembly.
• Install parts, sub-assemblies, drive systems, and pulleys before and after painting.
• Operate shop equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes with proper certifications.
• Perform test runs on completed equipment prior to shipment.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, dimension styles, and shop documentation to ensure accurate equipment assembly, updating paperwork to reflect any changes during the process.
• Install purchased parts, sub-assemblies, drive systems, and pulleys before and after the painting process.
• Safely operate shop equipment including ironworkers, band saws, drill presses, Jancy drills, and cutting torches, following all safety procedures.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes in compliance with safety standards, maintaining required certifications.
• Perform test runs on completed equipment to verify functionality and quality prior to shipment, and complete additional duties as assigned to support production and assembly operations.

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $20-24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

• 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday
