Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services in Dubuque, IA seeks an Assembly Technician to assemble industrial parts, check quality, and prepare orders for packaging.

Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday; wage $20 per hour. Responsibilities include reading assembly prints, using hand tools, testing components, and scanning inventory with NetSuite and RF Smart.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and units using assembly prints and written instructions.
• Use hand tools and small power tools.
• Test and calibrate components to meet product specifications.
• Inspect incoming parts and finished assemblies for defects or damage.
• Complete production and quality paperwork.
• Scan and track inventory using computer systems, including NetSuite and RF Smart.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Operate a forklift after completing required training and certification.
