Job summary

Glastender, Inc. is seeking Assemblers for the second shift (3:30 pm to 12:00 am) to safely and efficiently build sub-assemblies and finished products according to established work instructions.

A comprehensive training program supports new employees to ensure quality and safety. Responsibilities include learning safety procedures, workflow procedures, and assembly of all products within the department, while maintaining high quality and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: One to three years of manufacturing or related experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Reading comprehension for work instructions; mechanical aptitude; basic math for operations.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow all safety procedures and 5S standards.
  • Learn work flow procedures of the assembly team.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies and finished products per work instructions.

Job description

Glastender Inc. is a family-owned manufacturer of commercial bar and restaurant equipment, known for its high-quality products and innovative solutions. We are currently accepting resumes for Assembler positions on Second shift (3:30 pm to 12:00 am).

What You'll Do

Assemblers safely and efficiently build sub-assemblies and finished products in accordance with established work instructions and company standards, while maintaining high levels of quality, productivity, and teamwork. New employees are supported through a well-established, comprehensive training and onboarding program to ensure consistency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and adhere to all safety precautions of the plant. Must keep current with applicable safety training, wear personal protective equipment as required by each task, and consistently demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Learn the work flow procedures of the assigned assembly team.
  • Learn and perform assembly of all products built within the assembly department.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all tools and machinery used in department assembly operations.
  • Cross-train on a variety of assembly operations and with other teams in order to provide maximum production flexibility.
  • Maintain quality standards as identified in work instructions.
  • Keep tools and work area clean and organized utilizing 5S principles.
Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: One to three years of manufacturing or related experience

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Reading comprehension sufficient for following work instructions and writing ability to prepare basic production reports
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers
