Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read, write and speak effectively to read and describe manuals, orders, processes and procedures.
• Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and apply basic mathematical and reasoning skills.
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds semi-regularly and up to 45 pounds on occasion with dexterity to handle small pieces.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time while performing these tasks.
• Ability to pay attention to details and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Checks BOM to determine assembly and any kit requirements.
• Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners.
• Assembles components while verifying correctness per BOM.
• Packs finished product with required instruction sheet into cartons.
• Labels and stages finished product for system entry.
• Resolves assembly and packing problems with supervisor guidance.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment per policy.
• Wears protective equipment as required.
• Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Checks Bill of Material (BOM) todetermineassembly and any specific requirements for the kit being built.
• Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners for theparticular build.Checks for designated packaging.Contactsmaterial handler if shortagesexistsor incorrect parts are in bins.
• Assembles components while verifying that components are correct to the description called for on the BOM.
• Packs finished product into designated packaging along with any required instruction sheet into each carton of the finished product.
• Labels and stages the finished product to be received into the system.
• Resolves assembly and packing problems with direction from supervisor.
• Maintainscleanand safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Wearsall protective equipment asrequired.
• Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of processes throughout the operational organization.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
