Generac in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking Assemblers to join a weekend shift. The Assembler I/II/III perform assembly to meet specifications, validate materials, and follow work instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Work with assembly equipment and drawings, complete clean‑up, and support training of new staff. Qualifications vary by level: Assembly I—basic tasks; Assembly II—HS diploma or 1 year experience; Assembly III—HS diploma and 2 years experience.
Friday - Sunday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assembler I: $19.50/hour + $3.00/hour Shift Premium = $22.50/hour
Assembler II: $20.50/hour + $3.00/hour Shift Premium = $23.50/hour
Assembler is responsible for performing assembly work to manufacture products in a cost effective and timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Assembler I/II/III will validate material prior to beginning assembly, review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
