Job summary

Ventrac, located in Orrville, Ohio, is a division of The Toro Company, and is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role focuses on final assembly of Ventrac products following detailed procedures and work instructions.

You will use hand tools and hoists, perform quality checks, and address any damaged parts through rework or replacement. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and maintain safety in a fast-paced plant

• Must read and understand established assembly procedures and detailed work instructions.
• Maintain high safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs regularly and stand long periods.

First Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday through Friday

Wage: $19/hr

Summary:

The mechanical assembler position requires paying high attention to detail to perform the final assembly of Ventrac products by following established assembly procedures and detailed work instructions.

Position Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
• Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists
• Conduct quality control checks: inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to specifications
• Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies
