Job summary

Qarbon Aerospace in Red Oak, TX is seeking an individual to perform a variety of assembly operations on sub-assemblies and parts, following work instructions and tolerances.

Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience, be a US citizen or green card holder, and be eligible for an active security clearance; ITAR rules apply. The role supports inventory, cycle counts, and quality checks as part of a team delivering aerospace components.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident per ITAR guidelines.
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR.
• 3 to 5 years of experience required.
• An active clearance is highly preferred. Candidates without an active clearance may still be considered but must be eligible to obtain and maintain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies according to work instructions.
• Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerance to blueprint and work instructions specifications.
• May perform a wide variety of complex tests on fluids and electrical systems; troubleshoot and rework on components, instruments and assemblies.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other controlled procedures.
• Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.

Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerance to blueprint and work instructions specifications. May perform a wide variety of complex tests on fluids and electrical systems, checkouts, troubleshooting and rework on components, instruments and assemblies; may prepare reports and suggest improvements and modifications from data collected. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other controlled procedures. Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.
