Job summary

Qarbon Aerospace seeks a Sr. Assembler to perform diverse assembly tasks for sub-assemblies and parts, following work instructions and tolerances. You will set up equipment, make adjustments, and conduct tests on fluids and electrical systems while ensuring quality.

Experience with ITAR guidelines and the ability to obtain/maintain active clearance is highly preferred. You may assist with inventory and cycle counts, contributing to manufacturing efficiency and accuracy.

Sr. Assembler Position Overview:

Must be able to perform a variety of assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies and/or build parts for such assemblies, according to work instructions. Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerance to blueprint and work instructions specifications. May perform a wide variety of complex tests on fluids and electrical systems, checkouts, troubleshooting and rework on components, instruments and assemblies; may prepare reports and suggest improvements and modifications from data collected. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other controlled procedures. Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.

Experience and Education Requisites:

• Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident (i.e., ‘Green Card’) per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines.
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR.
• 3 to 5 years of experience required.
• An active clearance is highly preferred. Candidates without an active clearance may still be considered but must be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
