Job summary

Impact Electronic Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Assembler to join the production team. The role involves electro-mechanical assembly and soldering with in-process inspection to ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures and policies.

The position requires 3 years of electrical/electronic assembly experience, knowledge of IPC/J-STD standards, and ESD awareness. First shift with a 10-hour schedule and occasional overtime supports this critical manufacturing function.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required (preferred).
• Minimum of three years of experience in electrical/electronic assembly including solder.
• Familiarity with IPC/J-STD standards and ESD controls.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components including soldering and in-process inspection.
• Perform AOI, BGA x-ray checks, and special assembly tasks as needed.
• Crimp wires, test continuity, and inspect harnesses.
• Conduct moisture sensitive device handling and debris control during assembly.

JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the production team, the Assembler position is an electro-mechanical assembly/solder position with in-process inspection responsibilities. The position requires assembly, including solder and inspection in accordance with production manufacturing procedures and policies.

JOB FUNCTIONS

In addition to Assembler Job functions, responsibilities include:

• AOI
• Soldering
• Special Assembly
• BGA x-ray
• Wires - crimping/pull testing/connector
• Continuity testing
• Harness Assembly - no solder required
• Conformal Coat Rework/Touchup
• In-process inspection

QUALIFICATIONS

Assembler requires a High School diploma and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in electrical/electronic assembly environment, including solder.

• IPC-A-610 CIS (all Modules)
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 (modules 1, 2, 4 & 8)
