Job description

JOB SUMMARY - 1st Shift, 7AM - 5:30PM, 2ND SHIFT (Shift Differential), 6PM - 4:30AM, MON-THUR.


As a member of the production team, the Assembler position is an electro-mechanical assembly/solder position with in-process inspection responsibilities. The position requires assembly, including solder and inspection in accordance with production manufacturing procedures and policies.

JOB FUNCTIONS

In addition to Assembler Job functions, responsibilities include:

  • AOI
  • Soldering
  • Special Assembly
  • BGA x-ray
  • Wires - crimping/pull testing/connector
  • Continuity testing
  • Harness Assembly - no solder required
  • Conformal Coat Rework/Touchup
  • In-process inspection

QUALIFICATIONS

Assembler requires a High School diploma and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in electrical/electronic assembly environment, including solder.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

  • J-STD-001 CIS (Modules 1-5)
  • IPC-A-610 CIS (all Modules)
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 (modules 1, 2, 4 & 8)
  • Electrostatic discharge
  • Identifying counterfeit components
  • Right to Know/Safety
  • Moisture sensitive devices
  • Foreign object debris/damage
