This hybrid position sorts and moves materials and assembles parts according to work order instructions.
This position requires frequent standing and walking for up to eight hours per day. Employees regularly use their hands to handle tools, equipment, and materials and frequently reach with their hands and arms. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending are common job functions. Employees must frequently lift and carry to 50 pounds and frequent pushing and pulling are required, with occasional forces up to 70 pounds. Employees are regularly exposed to elevated noise levels typical of a metal manufacturing environment and the operation of large industrial equipment. The work environment occasionally includes exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical hazards and employees are exposed to climates that reflect moderate seasonal changes.
