Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

1. Assembles production by hand or mechanical means provided.
2. Knowledge of operation and maintains efficiency required to meet job specifications, production times, and quality standards.
3. Reports defective parts to Group Leader and/or Supervisor.
4. Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and process drawings.
5. Uses scales, micrometers, calipers, and gages necessary for quality requirements.
6. Knowledge of forklift operations.
7. Performs set-ups on equipment required for any assembly requirement.
8. Performs other related duties as directed by Group Leader and/or Supervisor when production schedule demands it.
9. Frequently lift, pull, and push metal components weighing between 2-7 lbs.
10. Occasionally lift, pull, and push chain components in excess of 50 lbs up to a maximum of 75 lbs.

Requirements

1. Qualified Candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Able to perform moderately active work typical of a manufacturing plant environment. Examples include pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, bending, twisting.
3. Safety Sensitive position.
