Job description

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test, and inspection. You may work on any single phase of operations at a given time.

Your Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparation of parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures.
• Mounting of product with epoxy and solder.
• Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder.
• Hand marking of devices.
• Test components and assemblies once finished.
• Sub‑assembly fabrication to be used on final product.
• Fiber optic attachment.
• Use the SAP system to make certain transactions.
• Assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Your Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma.
• Have experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Have good organizational skills.
• Experience with computer data entry (an asset).
• Good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
