Job summary

NewStream Enterprises, LLC is hiring a Power Unit Assembler to perform routine and non-routine production duties for light assembly projects in Springfield, Missouri. The role focuses on throughput and quality, operating within Open-Book Management principles.

The position offers part-time and full-time opportunities with ESOP and a 401(k) match, and a compensation of $16.50 per hour. Candidates should be able to work Monday-Friday day shift and maintain standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating hand and power tools preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety rules.
• Strong attention to quality and throughput.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using various tools
• Create usable finished product which meets specification within the standard time allowed following all prescribed work instructions
• Report defective materials, equipment, or questionable conditions to the supervisor/manager to identify and correct the root cause
• Perform set-up of tools and work station with parts
• Final inspection of finished product
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Support in-house and off-site education
• Accomplishment of scheduled work within established times
• Follow engineering and quality requirements

What You Will Do

The Power Unit Assembler performs routine and non-routine production duties for light assembly projects. The assembler is responsible for the throughput and quality of the product which is measured to a standard. Actively participates in and supports the principles of Open-Book Management.
