Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled assembler for the 2nd shift (1:30pm–10pm), Monday through Friday, in the United States. The role involves using hand and power tools to assemble parts and subassemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, install hardware, drill and deburr, verify dimensions with measuring tools, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while supporting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finished products using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documents.
• Install hardware, fasteners, brackets, and fittings.
• Perform drilling, countersinking, deburring, sealing, fastening, and assembly operations.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Follow company quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support production schedules and meet established manufacturing goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, drills, rivet guns, and precision measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documents.
• Install hardware, fasteners, brackets, fittings, and related components.
• Perform drilling, countersinking, deburring, sealing, fastening, and assembly operations.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Follow company quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support production schedules and meet established manufacturing goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
