Job Description

Assemblers play an important role in the manufacturing process. The person in this position accurately assembles, imprints, and packages products in a timely manner, and within a climate-controlled environment, while ensuring adherence to defined quality standards and Zirc documented processes.

This is a full-time, on-site permanent position with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures to assemble products according to specified work orders. Hairnets and/or gloves must be worn at times to complete this work.
  • Recognize nonconforming products through our inspection criteria (trim, spots, cracks, scratches, etc.) and initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and/or our quality system.
  • Use scales and other measurement devices to take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
  • Understand the products that we carry and be able to locate them within our warehouse (which may require using a ladder).
  • Use a manually operated imprinting machine to accurately imprint products.
  • Properly package finished products into our shipping boxes and barcode the boxes accurately.
  • Complete all required paperwork correctly according to daily assembly work.
  • Maintain work area in an orderly manner to ensure it is free of debris and other items not required to perform your job.
  • Actively assist in training others as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to climb and carry boxes down ladders
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to see different colors


Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in assembly and/or the manufacturing industry
