What You Will Contribute:

If you are a skilled assembler passionate about precision and detail, and eager to contribute to a thriving company, this role is for you! We seek dedicated, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Assembler II for our third shift in Racine, in a clean, air-conditioned environment.

The Assembler II will assemble parts according to Work Instructions and Drawings, and may rotate through various assembly tasks across the facility.

Job Duties:

  • Use hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic tools for assembly.
  • Use circular saws and deburring tools for modified assemblies (Utility and Flow only).
  • Use laser etchers, dot peen etchers, and engravers for customer-specified modifications (Utility and Flow only).
  • Calibrate gas sensors (Analytical Technologies only).
  • Use basic printing programs to fulfill customer orders and make adjustments as needed.
  • Record activity in the production system, view work instructions, and report completed work.
  • Navigate LX screens to check inventory and update as needed.
  • Proactively complete priority items and seek additional information from leads or supervisors when necessary.
  • Participate in safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Train colleagues in the department.
  • Perform basic 5S and Lean practices to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 3+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience desired.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of gluing and centering to specific tolerances across multiple products.
  • Ability to use function generators and multimeters if applicable.
  • Basic computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform audiogram tests.
  • Must pass vision, color vision, and depth perception tests for Aerospace department.
  • Requires manual dexterity, coordination, stamina, and wearing PPE.
