Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a production quality technician to drive efficiency and product quality on the assembly line. The role focuses on precise assembly, troubleshooting procedures, and collaboration with process and quality teams to meet daily manufacturing goals.

You will work on a day shift in a US-based facility, using tweezers and microscopes, with a strong emphasis on documentation, standard procedures, and safety compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years prior work experience in microelectronic, hybrid and/or semiconductor assembly.
• Ability to use tweezers and other small hand-tools.
• Basic computer skills for documenting defects and time charging.
• Equipment set-up and calibration.
• Routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• US export laws compliance: must be a U.S. Person.

• Work independently and take ownership for quality, driving continual improvements.
• Participate in meetings, contribute ideas, and help team meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

• Communicate in English and read work instructions; MIL-STD knowledge preferred.
• Set up and calibrate equipment; perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with Process and Quality Engineering to troubleshoot procedures.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our production line, ensuring that our products are assembled correctly and meet all specifications. Your work will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations and help us deliver top-notch products to our customers

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in at least three of the following skills: wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach. Be able to handle devices, and other small components using tweezers under a microscope.
• Work independently, take ownership for your quality and actively learn to make continual improvements.
• Participate in meetings, make suggestions and work with your team to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area
• Ability to work under a microscope 8 hours per day.
• Effectively communicate in English and read work instructions. Knowledge of MIL-STD criteria preferred.
• Performs equipment set-up and calibration and may perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with Process and Quality Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve procedure specification challenges.

The hourly pay range for this position is $31.55 - $39.42. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
