Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 Depending on Experience

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Trains employees; plans and assigns work; solves basic day-to-day problems.
  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Moves materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Marks materials with identifying information and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly.
  • Inspects equipment and reports any issues to the Production manager
  • Works alongside other production employees.
  • Treats employees with dignity and respect. setting a good example for other employees.
  • Uses computer to enter records and compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as may be required and assigned.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in following direction carefully
  • Familiarity with door components and assembly techniques.
  • Basic analytical, reasoning, and math abilities.
  • Basic verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands

  • Use of hands to feel, manipulate, or handle; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently standing and walking.
  • Frequent lifting of 50-85 pounds and/or pushing 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and requires the proper use of safety equipment such as protective eyewear, earplugs, hard toe shoes, etc.
