Assembler - Industrial Refrigeration Units - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

  • Assemble Package Units on 2nd shift, with training on 1st shift before transition.
  • Starting pay is $28.51/hour, plus a $1.50/hour shift premium after moving to 2nd shift.
  • Perform assembly of complex standard products, including tubing layout, bending, and sawing pipes.
  • Mount motors onto packages and use power and hand tools for fitting and alignment per blueprints/drawings.
  • Set up and level unit bases using laser levels, install perimeter angles, reconnect components, and perform finish caulking.
  • Verify correct components, consult drawings and manuals, and detect material defects.
  • Prepare packages for shipment, record labor and production data, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Participate in team activities like Kaizen, 5S, and problem-solving exercises, following all safety policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret business information, and communicate effectively with managers, customers, and staff.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, with frequent walking, bending, standing, and sitting.
