Job summary

ABB is seeking an Assembly Technician (Assembler III) for an onsite role in the manufacturing floor. You will read and interpret technical diagrams to assemble products and support production targets daily, ensuring quality and adherence to lean processes.

You will troubleshoot breakers, operate testing equipment, and help train other operators while maintaining housekeeping standards and accurate shift records.

Qualifications

• Must stand, bend, walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read and interpret technical diagrams for assembly.
• Flexible to work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair breakers on the line.
• Understand product operation and work on all stations.
• Interpret tester data for quality checks.
• Execute red tag process at shift end and record tallies.
• Assist in operator training and provide feedback on quality issues.
• Record production data issues daily and manage defect tracker.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift and keep equipment maintained.
• Operate and run testing equipment as required.
• Support with trainings of other employees.
