Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Assembler III - 1st Shift for the El Paso, TX area. The role involves assembling, fitting, and mounting subassemblies in electrical control equipment, with emphasis on testing preparation and final inspection.

Perform assembly required for testing preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.In this function, you will:• Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions and engineering drawings.• Use various tools, such as an impact gun, sidewinder, and drill to perform the assembly of switchboards.• Handle materials by following established procedures.• Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.• Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools, and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.• Perform other functions and/or tasks as assigned• Flexing into other functions of the business• Ability to be a team player and work independently with a sense of urgencyQualifications:Required:• Minimum of 1 year of internal switchboard manufacturing experience OR 2 Assembler II certifications.• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
