Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production role on site in Mississippi to assemble products and read technical diagrams for assembly. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires physical stamina for lifting up to 40-50 lbs.

The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards to ensure targets are met on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Certification preferred.
• 0 years of Manufacturing/Warehouse experience required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of tools and measurement preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs.
• Team and detail oriented.
• Shift differential compensation available (if applicable).

This position reports to:

Production Supervisor

Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualification

• High Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Certification preferred.
• 0 years of Manufacturing/Warehouse experience required.
