Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking an assembler for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:00 PM–1:30 AM) to build products per specifications, validate materials, and follow work instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks, some experience with ERP systems (SAP), and willingness to train others. Candidates with a high school diploma and prior manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Assembly I: ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks.
• Assembly II: high school diploma or equivalent and/or 1 year of complex assembly or related experience.
• Assembly III: high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of complex assembly or related experience.
• Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system (preferred).
• Experience in root cause problem solving (5 Why, 8D, PDCA) and training others (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Uses work instructions and drawings, and assembly equipment to assemble while complying with safety and quality standards.
• Resolves problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on level and complexity.
• Cross trains in multiple areas and flexes to other departments as needed.
• Provide training to new and current employees learning new work areas.
