Job Description

Electronic Assembler II performs a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, testing, standard routine troubleshooting and manufacturing of transducers. Has a vast knowledge of the various build processes within the department. Demonstrates efficient sensor manufacturing skills. Efficiently completes daily tasks according to the standard times without sacrificing the quality of the product. General knowledge of the MRP system.

Job Duties

• Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Apply acquired job skills, company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks and adherence to production plan schedules while producing high quality products to standards.
• Work on semi-routine assignments, recognizing when deviations are needed. Attention to detail is essential.
• Follow established procedures on routine work, requiring instructions only on new assignments.
• Work with small tools for precise processing of standard and special product sensors.
• Familiarity with all materials and equipment used in sensor fabrication and testing.
• Design and fabricate support tooling and generate assembly procedures for sensor fabrication.
• Operate specialized tooling and machinery used in sensor production.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1–2 years related experience
• Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
