Job summary

PROCEPT BioRobotics is seeking a Production Assembler in California. You will perform bench and shop floor assemblies across product lines, preparing components and finished units in a cleanroom setting while adhering to GMP procedures.

The role calls for 1–2 years of related experience, teamwork, and precise assembly techniques including laser welding or adhesive bonding. This position emphasizes quality and collaboration with R&D and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 4+ years related experience.
• CER environment experience is desirable.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Knowledge of GMP and GDP.
• 1–2 years of applicable experience (laser welding and/or adhesive bonding).

Responsibilities

• Position parts according to assembly knowledge and SOPs.
• Use hand and power tools to perform assemblies.
• Assemble components following GMP and approved procedures.
• Assemble parts under microscope using precision instruments.
• Perform complex tasks including repair and testing.
• Follow defined procedures to ensure quality output.
• Communicate build difficulties or faults to Production Lead.
• Relate process improvements with R&D & Operations teams.

What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following standard operating procedures or company approved standardized protocols
• Perform many assembly types functions, using hand and power tools
• Assemble components into a completed product by following GMP and approved procedures
• Assemble parts under microscope using small instruments and microscopic devices
• Perform a wide range of complex tasks involving repair and testing
• Understand assembly processes and SOP’s
• Follow defined procedures to achieve expected Quality output
• Recognize and communicates to Production Lead complex build difficulties and/or product faults in a clear, concise, and timely manner
• Recognize and diagnoses and communicates routine problems
• Work with R&D & Operations team to relate process improvements for changes in Work Process Instructions for Company’s products
• Interpret assembly drawings
• Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
• Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS Policies

• Experience working in CER environment is desired

Pay Range For This Role

$23.65 to $27.83
