POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6AM - 2:30PM) Assembler II (Glazier) based in Reamstown, PA. The Assembler II (Glazier) responsibilities include fabrication and assembly of glass panels related to commercial glazing construction. Also includes operations related to fabrication of center shaft assemblies used on revolving doors.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $19/hr. - $25/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Cut, fit and assemble metal-framed glass panels


• Interpret blueprints and instructions


• Monitor inventory of key operating supplies


• Review production schedule daily for build sequence and keep glass rack loaded as directed


• Operate various powered industrial equipment to move materials


• Operates saw, lathe and drill press to fabricate and assemble shaft components

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma and/or GED certification


• One (1) year of manufacturing experience


• Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings


• Basic knowledge of arithmetic


• Strong mechanical abilities
