Laborie seeks an Assembler II to assemble, inspect, package, and kit medical device products at our Minnetonka site, with potential relocation within 15 miles as operations evolve.

You will work in a controlled cleanroom, prepare materials, test subassemblies, complete lot history records, and move materials to support production. Strong attention to detail, ability to read work instructions in English, and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certs preferred but not required.
  • Experience with medical device manufacturing in a cleanroom.
  • Must read and understand work instructions and safety guidelines; communicate in English.
  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods at a cleanroom workstation (30"-40").
  • Basic MS Office skills; good documentation practices; GMP/CGMP a plus.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete lot history records (LHR) during manufacturing.
  • Handle materials and move them to support production.
  • Assist with process and product qualification activities and conduct regular inventory checks.
  • Adhere to quality system policies and procedures and report any deviations.
  • Back up and assist in warehouse as needed.

Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the Operations team, the Assembler II will assemble, inspect, and package and kit the Company’s medical device products. Work location is currently Minnetonka, but candidates should be open to a potential move to another site within 15 miles, depending on future operational requirements.

About the Role:
  • Prepare and assembler materials, manufacture medical devices in a controlled environment and test products and subassemblies for functionality or quality.
  • Complete lot history records (LHR) during manufacturing and inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Handling raw and finished goods materials, facilitating their movement within the plant to support production processes.
  • Ensure materials are accurately received, inspected, stores and delivered to appropriate areas, ensuring compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
  • Assist with process and product qualification activities; conduct regular inventory checks.
  • Show constant attention to detail and immediately inform supervisor of anything out of the ordinary or anything which does not conform to the approved process sheets.
  • Conduct quality self-inspection of all assemblies processed.
  • Complete training and understand documentation needed to comply with Laborie's quality system policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies in terms of punctuality and availability and conform to other policies as described in Company's employee handbook.
  • Back up and assist in warehouse as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational certificates preferred but not required.
  • Experience with medical device manufacturing in a cleanroom.
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions and safety guidelines and communicate in English.
  • Individuals will need to stand or sit for extended periods, and work at a cleanroom table height ranging from 30"-40" in a sitting or standing position depending on the workstation.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office.
  • Knowledge of good documentation practices, GMP, CGMP aplus.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, safely and efficiently a plus.
