Job summary

The Fulton Group, LLC is seeking an assembler to build, insulate, and test boilers and sub-assemblies on site. You will follow instructions from drawings, use complex tools, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

This role rewards reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly. Heavy physical work is required, including handling up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings is needed.
• Good physical stamina required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
• Steel plate forming and welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boilers according to drawings and instruction using complex tools.
• Connect pipe and pipe fittings.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

This is an assembly position responsible for building, insulating, and testing of boilers and associated sub assembly parts. The successful candidate will come with good attitude, a can-do spirit, and the ability to learn and complete assigned tasks efficiently, correctly, and in alignment with the Company values and operating philosophy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assemble boilers according to drawings and instruction using complex tools.


• Connect pipe, pipe fittings.


• Perform complex testing activities


• Follow all safe working practices working with hand tools, machines and vehicles.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):

• High School diploma or GED


• Read and interpret complex drawings required to complete custom work


• Good physical stamina


• Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks with minimal instruction


• Steel plate forming and welding experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Heavy Work – Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently. Frequent standing and walking.


• Bending/Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Full motion of the body, lower extremities and back muscles.


• Ability to run a sand rammer for extended periods of time.


• Respirator - Must be able to use a respirator and may be exposed to dust and fumes.
