Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking an assembler to perform simple assembly operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will assemble components into larger finished goods following verbal and written instructions and established guidelines.

This role requires attention to detail, basic soldering ability, and strong teamwork to ensure accurate and timely production. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Summary:

Perform simple assembly operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Assemble multiple components into lower volume, medium size and weight assemblies and larger finished goods. Work to verbal instructions, written instructions, and established guidelines. This position does not typically require exercising independent judgment. Additional instructions may be provided by a department Team Leader, Supervisor and/or Manager, as applicable.

Job Duties:

• Count, weigh and package products and accessories.

• Operate and tend to light to medium duty machines.

• Perform manual assembly operations.

• Perform plunging.

• Operate tape-kit machine.

• Perform needle bending.

• Operate manual foil-dasher machine.

• Utilize scale to count order parts.

• Perform final product testing.

• Package orders.

• Print and apply order labels.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of work experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of applicable best business practices and procedures for fabrication and assembly environments.

• Communicate effectively with co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.

• Capable to read and understand work orders.

• Component familiarity.

• Good Manual Dexterity.

• Good Visual Acuity.

• Ability to solder.

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience is preferred.
