Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembler I for the South Chesterfield, VA facility on the 1st shift (6am–2:30pm). You will program, operate and troubleshoot automated and/or robotic machinery in the production of sheet metal refrigerated cases, reading orders and assembling parts with hand or power tools.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, prior manufacturing experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Production environment with temp variation, chemicals, noise and dust.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an 'A' order.
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line.
• Identify tools used on the product line.
• Read and comprehend the work order.
• Assemble parts with hand or power tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
