Job summary

Sonoco Temple, GA is seeking an Assembler I to help keep the new reel assembly line running quickly and safely. The role reports to the Team Lead and requires excellent attendance to ensure team success.

You will collaborate with other departments, troubleshoot issues, adjust processes, and maintain safety and quality. Reading manufacturing instructions and strong initiative are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience is helpful.
• Get it done attitude with urgency to resolve tasks.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Know products and quality requirements.
• Reliable, initiative, committed, quality-focused.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain high craftsmanship and attention to detail in fast-paced work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams.
• Troubleshoot problems and situations on the line.
• Make incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Perform duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
• Support Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Help out other departments as needed.
