Job summary

The New-Leader-Manufacturing Cedar Rapids facility is seeking an Assembler I to proficiently produce quality assemblies in gear cases, spinners, chain shields, and final subassemblies.

This role requires 0–2 years of manufacturing experience, basic computer skills, the ability to read blueprints, and good math skills. You will complete tasks safely and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

You may train others and support continuous improvement while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to look up information, clock in/out, and report activities.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Good math skills; ability to work with measurements and units including 1/32 inch.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Verifies assembly by visual inspection and measurements per prints and procedures.
• Completes work within standard time and quality guidelines, and performs quality checks.
• Assembles mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components and reads prints.
