Job summary

Daniels Manufacturing Corporation in Orlando, FL is seeking an assembler to build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies per customer specifications and company policies. Tasks include bench-type assembly with hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools, maintaining a clean, safe work area, and aligning with production schedules under supervision.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in assembly/manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and ideally the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Assembly or Manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
  • Set and assemble small, large hand tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with direct supervision
  • Ability to concentrate and sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
