Job summary

Overhead Door Corporation is seeking a diligent assembler to verify product specifications and ensure quality through inspection and measurement. You will assemble products to drawings and orders, using hand and power tools and other handling devices as needed.

The role focuses on meeting production standards with attention to safety, physical stamina, and accurate calculation of measurements. Training is provided for the right candidate and opportunities exist across production lines.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand work instructions in English.
• 6-12 months related experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Frequent bending, pushing / pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify product specification and product quality through inspection, observation, and measuring work pieces.
• Ability to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize hand and power tools, and other material handling devices for manufacturing assistance.
• Assemble product to specifications according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Use of power and hand tools required
• Ability to meet production standards
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
