Job summary

UFP New Waverly, LLC is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts or assemble finished products according to customer specifications. You will secure and maintain correct parts and supplies for operations.

Responsibilities include setting up the work area, fitting parts, using hand tools, inspecting and maintaining safety and quality, and recording production data. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 18+, and ideally 6 months of manufacturing experience with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months manufacturing & assembling experience preferred.
• Basic math knowledge preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures; may cover, label, and band components finished product.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized; equipment safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of basic math preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
